Throwback Thursday, 11th May
This year Finland is celebrating 100 years of independence. To honor the anniversary we publish a series of photos from the Port of Turku archives themed Throwback Thursday. In 1935 a series of ten patrol boats built by Turun Veneveistämö was launched. The boats were ordered by the Ministry of Interior at a price of FIM 20 million. The Throwback Thursday picture shows some of the boats in front of the boatyard.
